Artist Luke Basyrov (Luka Basyrov)

Feature works – mostly fantastic realism, surrealism. Luke Basyrov works both in painting and in the schedule, often using mixed techniques of their choice. He lives in St. Petersburg. Since 1996, work has been exhibited in the Western European countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Finland, Denmark; as well as in China.

Selected exhibitions: In 2002, at the First Exhibition of the St. Petersburg Ballet Festival “Flying Time” at the Theatre Ballet “Choreographic Miniatures” Askold Makarov. In 2003 personal exhibition in the Castle Museum “Schloss Penkun” (g Penkun, Germany). In 2004 solo exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art “Gallerie im Griesbad” (Ulm, Germany). Repeated participation in exhibitions of the International Biennale of Graphic Arts in St. Petersburg, organized by the Foundation “Modern graphics” with the Committee on Culture of the city administration. His works are in private and museum collections in Russia, Germany, Italy, UK, USA, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands.
